The Bequest Society was named after the late Dr. Amol Lele (1944-2020) who delivered thousands of babies for more than 40 years at Women & Children’s Hospital. She was a compassionate and skilled physician who guided expectant mothers through risky and difficult births. Dr. Lele was the obstetrician that women turned to when they were facing problem pregnancies.
